Водные каналы аквапорины играют важную роль в регуляции потока воды по растению. Показано влияние гормона абсцизовой кислоты (АБК) на активность аквапоринов, однако сведения о действии этого гормона на водные каналы листа противоречивы. В данной работе изучено влияние АБК на транспирацию, водный потенциал и гидравлическую проводимость отделенного от корней побега, а также на уровень PIP2 аквапоринов в листе растений ячменя сорта Прерия. Показано, что АБК снижает транспирацию, но повышает водный потенциал и гидравлическую проводимость, что связано с повышением под влиянием этого гормона уровня аквапоринов PIP2;1 и PIP2;2.
