Changes in the activity of amylases, proteases, and cellulases in the leaves of potato plants grown under late blight infection and deficiency of soil moisture under the influence of pretreatment with Bacillus subtilis bacteria, salicylic acid (SA), jasmonic acid (JA), and their mixture were studied. In plants treated with B. subtilis in combination with signal molecules, higher amylolytic and proteolytic activity was observed, this effect was especially pronounced when treated with B. subtilis in combination with both signal molecules. Treatment of plants with bacteria together with SA and JA, which activates a whole complex of signaling pathways, can be considered as a potential way to induce plant defense responses to increase resistance to pathogen attack.
