An important condition for the normal existence of the body, protecting it from intoxication and maintaining homeostasis is the ability of barrier tissues to maintain plasticity and the ability to adapt to external influences. In turn, the physiological properties of external and internal barriers depend on the functional activity of their constituent cells. The influence of the tissue peptide preparation "Bursanatal", isolated by enzymatic hydrolysis from the lymphoid tissue of the Fabricius bag of broiler chickens, on the viability and morphofunctional characteristics of cells of barrier tissues: skin fibroblasts, macrophages of the mucous membranes of the respiratory and digestive apparatus was studied. An increase in the viability of all studied cell types was established, as well as an increase in the lysosomal and phagocytic activity of macrophages, without a significant effect on their enzymatic properties. The most pronounced changes in the morphological and functional properties of cells were observed when exposed to a 10% concentration of the drug "Bursanatal".
