Summary:

The problem of the biologization of agriculture and the development of biological products based on microorganisms plays an important role in agriculture. Biological preparations are considered as an alternative to chemical ones. In addition to the direct protection of plants from phytopathogens, biological products increase crop yields and lead to environmentally friendly products. In this work, we studied the effect of a laboratory sample of a biological product based on Bacillus atrophaeus on the agronomic characteristics of potatoes in the Astrakhan region. In laboratory studies, the presence of growth-promoting activity of a laboratory sample in relation to test plants was proved (stimulation of watercress seedlings by 1.5 times, white mustard by 2 times, radish by 2.5 times). In the course of field trials of a biological product on potatoes of the «Ilyinsky», the influence of a laboratory sample on the germination of seedlings (increase by 20.0%), biometric indicators of the crop (increase in plant height by 5.5%, number of leaves by 17.5%, shoots on 12.0%, tubers by 7.0%), as well as an increase in yield (by 38.9%). There was a change in the qualitative and quantitative indicators of potatoes (an increase in the mass of tubers by 27.5%, a decrease in the number of diseased tubers by 100.0%). In general, the use of biological products on the fields of the Astrakhan region contributes to the production of environmentally friendly and safe products.
