Alternariosis – dangerous disease of crops caused by imperfect micromycetes of the genus Alternaria. It is widespread practically in all regions of Russia, cultivating agricultural crops. Including in the Astrakhan region, where the аlternariosis actively affects potatoes and tomatoes. Under favorable weather conditions, the disease actively spreads and significantly reduces crop yields. In this paper, the influence of a laboratory sample of a biofungicide based on Bacillus atrophaeus on the reduction of the incidence of cultures by аlternariosis in the Astrakhan region was studied. In laboratory studies, the presence of fungicidal and mycolic activity of a laboratory sample for phytopathogenic micromycetes of the genus Alternaria was demonstrated: the sample shows a pronounced fungicidal activity (zones of inhibition of 21-33 mm) and has a mycotic effect on the micromycetes of the genus Alternaria. During the field tests, the effect of a laboratory sample on the development of potato alternatives for the summer planting period of the «Ilyinsky» variety and the tomato variety «Gift» has been established: the development of the disease decreases, the number of infected plants, fruits and tubers decreases. Containment of development of аlternariosis promotes an increase in yield and a decrease in the content of sick tubers and fruits in the crop. The use of biofungicide reduces the pesticide load and promotes the production of environmentally friendly and safe products.
