Comparative metagenomic analysis of microbial community of anthropogenic alkaline biotopes was provided. The objects of investigation are sediments the sludge storage of «Soda JSC» (pH 11-12.6), and soils of dried soda lake (pH 7.5-8.6), at which a partial restoration of the vegetation cover began. Gammaproteobacteria and Firmicutes prevailed in the studied samples of anthropogenic origin. There were revealed great differences in the phylogenetic composition of the Bacteria. Thus, Staphylococcus and Acinetobacter dominated on the territory of the sludge storage but Cellulomonas (Cellulomonas uda) dominated in the soil of the old drained soda lake at a depth of 10 cm.
