Type: scientific article

Summary:

The analysis of expression level NtEXPA6 gene in tobacco plants treated with exogenous phytohormones and effect NaCl, as well as created transgenic tobacco plants with constitutive and inducible expression of the gene. In wild-type tobacco highest content of NtEXPA6 mRNA detected in the roots and in the second from the shoot apex leaves, and these leaves increase in the level of expression of the gene under study induced auxins and cytokinins. In the third of the shoot apex leaf increase expression level NtEXPA6 gene contributed only brassinosteroids. In young leaves located below the fourth leaf from the shoot apex, expression NtEXPA6 gene not apparent even when treated with exogenous phytohormones. Constitutive and inducible expression of the gene under study contributed to changes in the size of individual cells and organs of transgenic plants.
