Using Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation method with hypervirulent strain of Agrobacterium tumefaciens AgL0 transgenic plants Taraxacum officinale with reporter gene GFP-GUS and selective gene NPT11 were generated. After five weeks of selection, kanamycin-resistant shoots on some explants of a lamina were generated. The transgenic nature of the regenerated plants were confirmed by the polymerase chain reaction, the Km-test for presence NPT11 gene and histochemical analysis of activity gene-reporter GUS.
