Влияние отложения лигнина на стрессоустойчивость растений и регуляция гидравлической проводимости корней на фоне усиленной лигнификации

Аннотация:

Отложение лигнина играет важную роль в формировании поясков Каспари, представляющих собой барьер для неконтролируемого движения ионов и воды по апопласту. На фоне засоления, затопления, засухи и присутствия в почве ионов тяжелых металлов наблюдается усиление лигнификации. Эта защитная реакция повышает устойчивость растений, снижая как приток в растения токсичных ионов, так и потерю корнями кислорода при затоплении и потерю воды - при ее транспорте в побег через подсыхающие при засухе верхние слои почвы. Тем не менее, лигнификация может иметь отрицательные последствия для роста и развития растений из-за снижения гидравлической проводимости в результате блокирования апопластного пути воды. Данная работа была направлена на анализ данных о том, как растения могут решить проблему поддержания гидравлической проводимости на фоне усиленного отложения лигнина и вызванного им ограничения движения воды по апопласту. При этом снижение гидравлической проводимости можно избежать за счет повышения уровня и активности водных каналов аквапоринов. Важную роль в регуляции как отложения лигнина, так и компенсирующего этот процесс увеличения уровня аквапоринов может играть абсцизовая кислота.
